Gondwana Records, the influential British label for spiritual jazz, neoclassical, and ambient music, presents an evening full of new releases. Saxophonist and composer Jasmine Myra is one of the label’s rising stars. During this concert, she will perform new, never-before-played material that builds on her warm, lyrical, and hopeful style. Inspired by artists like Bonobo, Kenny Wheeler, and Ólafur Arnalds, she develops a transparent, spiritual, and emotionally charged sound world. According to London Jazz News, she brings “beautiful and profound music.” Jamie Cullum praises her as “an amazing new artist.”
Under the leadership of bassist and composer Ozzy Moysey, the Ancient Infinity Orchestra is releasing a new album on Gondwana Records. With their debut album River of Light from 2023, they already proved their strength: meditative, spiritual jazz full of warm, immersive melodies. Inspired by legendary artists like Pharoah Sanders and Alice Coltrane, the orchestra creates an intense and sincere atmosphere. Their music invites stillness and connects listeners with one another. Each performance is a profound experience where collectivity and emotion take center stage, and the power of making music together is palpable.
